It is truly the sport of the arts! Anyone who likes to dance, have fun, throw things in the air and catch them will love this sport. We provide full training and invite students of any gender and skill level. No one gets cut, because our shows are more like theater productions, no one is left out. If you love Winter Guard, you will also have the opportunity to join the Fall Marching Band & Guard. For more information, visit our Winter Guard webpage. Congratulations the the Newtown Nighthawks Band and Guard for winning the National Championship! Their 97.363 score is now the highest score on record for Newtown. They also won the caption awards for Overall Effect and Best Percussion. What an amazing end to a very successful season! Go Nighthawks!
Did you hear about clapping class today? Please come for the parent clapping class that Ricky has requested at 12:00 during the last run through so that we can cheer for best effect for the judges - the top 10 bands have scored within 1 point of each other so every little thing helps - including cheering! No, this is not a joke, we really want as many parents to come and find out when is best to cheer during the performance! So come at noon and watch our kids on their home field for the last time this season! GOOD LUCK TONIGHT AT NATIONALS, NEWTOWN!
STAY WARM IN MET LIFE STADIUM!!! We have arrived at the last home football game performance of the season!
