• Completed Personalized Windbreaker Order Form (see your email)
• (Returning members only) Completed Updated Windbreaker Personalization Form (see your email)
• A sack lunch to eat while you wait your turn in line
See your sweaty, smiling faces then!
There will be a change for the first morning of Band Camp. On Monday, August 14:
8:00 - 10:00 a.m. - Student Leaders Only
10:00 - 12 Noon - Student Leaders and New Members Only
During the student leader session, we will be talking about and doing activities related to effective leadership, which includes a clear definition of responsibilities and expectations. With new members, through videos, modeling and instruction, we will be expanding your understanding of the marching band activity which will result in a more meaningful, positive and productive experience.
All should report for the rest of band camp.
The Blue Knights, a Top 7 DCI Drum and Bugle Corps from Denver, Colorado, will be practicing in our
own NHS Blue & Gold Stadium tomorrow, Friday, August 4!!
The Blue Knights have 150 performers, all under the age of 21 and representing 30 different states and 4 countries; during the summer they travel for 85 days from coast to coast rehearsing and performing their show for thousands daily... and their 2017 Tour Director -- our own NHS alum and Head Visual Instructor Ricky Grasso -- is bringing them here.
Join us! This is your chance to see a professional marching band and experience the "Major Leagues" of the marching band world... for free! You don't want to miss it!
